David Taylor led Procter & Gamble’s turnaround as Chairman, President, and CEO from 2015 to 2021, and later as Executive Chairman until 2022—revitalizing its culture, elevating product excellence, and returning the company to sustainable growth and top-tier shareholder returns.
Over four decades at P&G, he held senior leadership roles across Beauty, Grooming, Health, Family, and Home Care, guiding global brands including Gillette, Pantene, and Crest. He began in product supply, gaining broad experience in manufacturing, logistics, and operations, and later led businesses in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Today, David chairs Delta Air Lines and Opella and serves as Senior Advisor to Clayton Dubilier & Rice. Beyond business, he has chaired The Alliance to End Plastic Waste, served on the boards of Feeding America and Catalyst, and remains active with Duke University, where he earned a BS in electrical engineering and now serves on the Board of Trustees.
